INFINIT Y EDGE POOL

An infinity edge pool gives a dramatic effect, tricking the
eye with an illusion of water flowing over the edge and
disappearing into infinity.

When lighting an infinity edge pool, the ideal design is
to place the lights at the opposite side of the infinity
edge so the glow is directed to the water spilling over.

It’s also a great feature to light the outside of the edge, illuminating the water
as it cascades over and down the weir. This can be done in two ways. The first
is to position PAL Strip Lights at the top of the weir with the light directed down
the wall so that the entire cascade of water is illuminated and shows the water
evenly trickling and shimmering down. The second way is to evenly space lights
in the weir/water trough, positioned to direct the light up the wall. This will still
illuminate the water trickling and shimmering down, but it can create some hot
spots as the lights are positioned in close proximity to the illuminated area.

Both ways of illuminating the infinity edge are effective and look spectacular.
The choice is decided by personal preference. For another amazing effect,
both methods can be combined. This is ideal for a multi-colored light show
and a breath-taking atmosphere.
