IP65

Protected against water jets from any angle. An LED strip light that has an IP65
rating is water-resistant.
Application on decks, staircase, patios, and similar outdoor locations.

IP67

Protected against the effects of temporary submersion in water. Both IP65-rated
LED strips and IP67-rated LED strips use a similar coating material. However, IP67
has additional glued seals at each end, making them water-resistant if submerged
in water for ten minutes.
Application on waterfalls, perimeter coping around pools and fountains and any
similar outdoor location where water may be splashed onto the strip light.

IP68

Protected against the effects of permanent submersion in water (with a maximum
depth of 10 feet). LED strip lights with IP68 ratings can be permanently in water up
to depths of three meters.
Application on pool stairs, overflow tanks, and similar underwater location where
submersion of the strip light is permanent.

Applicable scenarios:
intermittent water shower environment such as under the eaves; outdoor sheltered environment.
Key note:
1. Products with protective measures such as silicone glue sealed end cap/nano surface coating must be installed in a sheltered place to
avoid direct sunlight, which will cause failure of the sealing glue/nano coating.
2. When installing the IP65 rated products please avoid places prone to water accumulation to avoid failure caused by water soaking.
3. Please avoid contact with various corrosive chemicals.
